About Us

Northern Illinois Softball Association (NISA) is a recreational softball league made-up of McHenry County girls softball programs. It is NISA's goal to unite McHenry County softball leagues into one joint association in order to extend each programs philosophy of developing, teaching, and promoting girls softball and to provide for a better fast pitch softball experience.NISA has divisions for 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 20U age groups. There will be anywhere from 10 games to as many as 20 or more; depending on age group. Games are played under IHSA rules, with various league exceptions. Regular season games are scheduled during the months of May and June with an end of season play-off style tournament among it's member teams, culminating in a single championship game to crown an annual League Champion.
